I've had many jobs in my life, and was trained as a nursing sister, but for the past ten years I've worked in administration and event management. I re-trained as a writer and editor in the late 90s and have had a lot of work in that field ever since.
The Melbourne Age has printed my articles well over 100 times, I currently have a monthly column with The Melbourne Anglican and have had two non-fiction collections published: Three Gates to Paradise in 2006 and The Whole Shebang in 2008.
Most of my favourite pursuits are solitary ones: walking, reading, writing, contemplative prayer and playing the piano, but I also love spending time with family and friends, especially over food. I am an active member of the Uniting Church.
